That was my week that was

For most of history, humans have been nomadic or semi-nomadic. This must explain our restlessness. Agriculture and cities are relatively recent phenomena, though the world has now passed a tipping point with more than half of the global population living in cities.

This is my preamble to explaining my wilfully restless working week.

Sunday: Harrogage to Oxford
Monday: Oxford to Cheltenham; teaching; marking; met David Phillips for a drink. Overnight in Cheltenham.
Tuesday: Cheltenham to Stroud to assess student presentations; then to Bournemouth on a placement visit. Back to Oxford.
Wednesday: Placement visit near Oxford. Then drove north.
Thursday: Teaching in Leeds.
Friday: Admin and management tasks in Leeds.
