Media on media

The Guardian newspaper has built a valuable monopoly on reporting the media landscape (with Monday's Media Guardian and its online version).

It now faces some competition (for content, if not yet for job advertising) in the form of The Independent's Media Weekly published today (but not all online). Mark Borkowski surveys celebrity cyberspace and there's an interesting attempt to map the ownership of the world's ad agencies (this includes some PR firms).
