PR stereotypes
I learnt on Friday that many colleagues outside our subject area have a stereotypical view of our PR students. It's the same as Victoria Mather's in the Saturday Telegraph (no link): the PR blonde. 'Antonia is dead perky. This morning she is following up the e-mail that she followed up with a letter about an innovative concept at the Sloth Hotel...'
I'm welcoming our new students this morning - and hoping they might shatter this image.
